Visual Art
This illustration is results of various fashion croquis by drawing specific features of nature, architecture, automobiles, and cathedrals to the clothing details.
Sagrada Familia Cathedral
designed a layered skirt, which resembles the shape of ‘passion façade’ on the
exterior of ‘Sagrada Família,’ and a top which is made of a pattern that captures the
pillars inside the cathedral, which goes up to the ceiling. I completed an elegant S/S look
using a deep brown leather fabric and a grayish tie-dye fabric.
Moon Cactus
Designed a three-dimensional top which is made with the four connected patterns
Orange and yellow color that represents ‘MOON CACTUS’.
The deep green patterns, cut in angular shapes like the cactus stems, are clearly divided with gray piping details
And zippers, creating a kitsch look for women in early 20’s.
Smoky Quartz
Designed an unbalance jacket with two different characteristics of ‘SMOKY QUARTZ’
On each side, one resembling the dense aspect of quartz and the other resembling the spiky look of the quartz, and a skirt.
Using a sparkly embroidery detail in brownish-gray and black crystal colors, which are uniquely found in smoky quartz.
And a tweed fabric in a dark tone, completed an elegant mysterious look.
Lamborghini Forsennato
Focusing on the arrangement of the extremely angular and delicate polygonal shapes on ‘LAMBORGHINI FORSENNATO’,
I designed a sporty oversize jacket and a futuristic F/W jogger pants in a comfortable silhouette.
Using a mesh fabric and fabrics in neon and red color for eye-catching details, results in a cool outfit targeted for women in their FW 22.
Swallowtail Butterfly
With the soaring wings and the tail of the swallowtail butterfly as the motif,
I designed a short top with bead detail and observed the delicate lines in the wings to design a pattern for the short pants. Using a shimmery sequin fabric with a metallic fabric filled with glitters,
I expressed the colors of the big and glamorous patterns on the butterfly’s
blue wings to complete a glamorous S/S look.
Turbinidae
Getting the motif of design from a mollusk called turbinidae,
I used the spiral shell as a detail for the look to create a dress, wrapped in layers, and a bolero jacket with ruffle details.
Tweed fabric, which expresses the firmness of the shell, and a warm
toned sequin fabric with feathers used to create a romantic F/W look.
Telopea Speciosissima
This is a vivacious skirt which shows the big petals of telopea speciosissima in full
bloom and an open-shoulder top, which resembles the fully mature flower head.
The sequins, tweeds, and lace, which capture the fierce red color of telopea speciosissima
And white puff sleeves maximize the vivaciousness of women in mid 20s.
